Foolish of Me
Foolish of me to think this was perfect,
So I thought it's pretty immaculate,
We blend together flawlessly, symphonic,
We're so perfect... even the separation is prismatic.
Beneath all of it, lie the feelings, unsnored,
Had it known, left me abhorred,
Your last words stabbed my heart like a sword,
After many times of forgetting, nothing is restored.
You have left me not hurt but destroyed, demolished.
I tried hard, brushed it to let it gleam, still, unpolished.
My love, you threw it like a trash, can't be recycled.
Even so, I still let our story in my mind, replayed, hoping to be reclaimed.
